1920's Peach Lace Dress

Lovely 1920's peach and off-white lace gown. Fabric is a rayon type lace with a bit of shine. Bodice has a shawl collar consisting of peach lace with a scallopped off-white trim. Below the lace bodice is a sheer chiffon insert on the upper chest and a peach silk underslip which falls just above the last tier of lace on the skirt. Peach chiffon trim around sleeve openings and neckline. Drop waisted. Below the waist is a tailored peach chiffon scallop insert. Below the scallop are two rows of peach lace followed by a row of off-white lace at the bottom of the dress. The three tiers of lace have uneven hemlines and are seperately sewn onto the peach underslip (see close-ups). Very good condition - one spot on the skirt. Strudy and wearable. Very good condition. Historic example shows a similar dress, very Great Gatsby.
