1920's sheer chiffon gown with black silk slip. This fabric
is very unusual. What looks to be a Native North American
influenced print which was very popular in the 20's. Fabric
consists of black chenille, sheer maroon chiffon, sheer black
chiffon, and black embroidered patterns (see close-ups). The
sides of the dress are black chiffon panels with a dropped
waist faux belt. The silk slip is very light and almost sheer,
attached at the shoulders. Condition: Very good and wearable.
A couple small breaks in the chiffon. The dress feels sturdy
and the underarms have no problems. A beautiful example of
a deco dress. |
