Pretty Saks Fifth Avenue Young Dimensions 1970's Dress made of wispy colorful flowered chiffon with beading. The fabric is printed with bright colors, green, purple, blue and a hot fuchsia. A nice detail to this dress is that there is two layers of the same printed chiffon, giving the fabric more depth with the other layer showing through underneath. The dress is sleeveless with a v-neckline and empire waistline. Sparkly Czech glass beads trim under the chest and around the waistline (front & back). The skirt is floor length/ankle length and has a ruffle hemline. white rayon lining & underslip. Zipper up the back. Condition: the dress itself is excellent, however the beading around the waistline has been removed and there are several small pulls here and there to the fabric in this area. Also, around the back there are parts of the bead trim missing (as it approaches the zipper, @5" total) - the Czech beads & glass beads
can be found at bead stores and could be replaced if you have time. |
