1950's Don Loper Beverly Hills draped back black crepe cocktail dress. The bodice has a high, almost boatneck neckline that plunges in the back. 3/4 length sleeves, fitted bust and waist. The front of the skirt is straight with draped fabric on the left hip from the swag on the back of the dress. The back swag begins at the center back and drapes around the left side. There is also gathered fabric at the center back of the skirt that snaps over the zipper. Fully lined with black rayon, zipper up the back. Label reads, "Don Loper Beverly Hills."

Condition: very good. The fabric is not as crisp as it was originally and there is minor wear, but no major problems. The lining in the underarms has been mended, underarm seams on the dress have a slight bit of pulling. The shoulders are a little dingy from storage and overall the dress would benefit from a professional dry cleaning. Dress has belt loops and is missing the original belt. Original zipper has been replaced.
