Wonderful 1950's black satin dress and bolero jacket. Fabric is a thick smooth satin. The bodice has a rounded neckline with two narrow bows at the corners. Short sleeves. No seam between the bodice and skirt. Jacket has five fabric covered buttons up the front with a beautiful beaded peter pan collar. Both pearls and transparent beads decorate the white collar. 3/4 length sleeves with cute rounded cuffs. Metal zipper up back of dress. Tag reads, "Leslie Fay Originals." Black satin is very hard to photograph and the pictures do not do this dress justice. One tiny pinhole in the jacket sleeve. Not noticable. Otherwise excellent condition. All beads are present. |
