1940's Brown Swing Dress
#5S113

Very flattering 1940's dress. Beautiful cut and tailoring, with a slim waist and hips and gored skirt, perfect for swing dancing. Fabric is a brown/mauve crepe, probably synthetic. The bodice has a pointed collar with cord embroidery and rhinestones. There is a faux scope neck with pointed inserts at the neckline. As you can see, there are also two horseshoe rhinestone pin decorations. The hips have crisscross tailoring and more chord embroidery. Tag reads, "Trim-Look Fashions". There are a few pinholes, one small hole and a few light spots. Dress has not been cleaned, possibly a dry cleaner could help. Above all, this is a wonderful 40's dress worth fixing. CLOSE-UPS
