Gorgeous dark blue silk fabric printed with white flowers & designs. This 1950's dress has that Lucy-style cut, floppy pointed collar, seamless New Look shoulders, & 3/4 length sleeves. Sweetheart-style tailoring across the bust to give the bodice an attractive cut. Fitted bust & waist. The skirt is slightly dropped at the hips with a decorative fold around the hipline that dips to a point in the back. Full wispy skirt with a sewn-in black crinoline & horse hair hem. Metal zipper up the back. Condition: excellent. No holes or stains. Some rubbing on the seam at the v-neckline, which is not noticeable. A beautiful well-made dress. |
