A really exceptional dress with lots of details! Gigi Young New York label dark blue & white polka dot cotton dress with wonderful accordion-pleated skirt. The fabric is high quality smooth cotton. The dress has a plunging v-neckline that sticks up a little on the sides, pleats at the shoulders and darts through the chest to give the bust a flattering cut. The skirt full and vast with a crinoline sewn in. Tiny accordion pleats front and back on the skirt with alternating polka dot and plain dark blue fabric gores. Comes with the original polka dot belt, metal zipper up the back. Condition: almost excellent - there are a couple minor marks on the bodice that are not noticeable and should come out with a dry cleaning. The accordion pleats have been somewhat flattened in spots, but not noticeable. A unique piece from an extremely stylish woman, we've never had anything like it before! |
