Great 1950's black
swooshy dress with stand-up black velvet collar and white
beaded accents. Fabric is probably rayon or acetate, taffeta
in feel and weight. The collar has wire built-in so that it
is adjustable and can standup as in photos. A variation on
a keyhole neckline with a slit-front. Cap sleeves, bust has
side darts. Fitted waistline and full swing skirt. Faux-pearl
bead accents outlining velvet inserts on front of skirt. Condition:
Two shiny spots, possible scuffs to fabric, not noticeable.
No holes or stains. A very attractive dress in wonderful condition. |
