I love this dress! Too big for me, but if it weren't, this would not be for sale. Greta Plattry, an accomplished sportswear designer from the 40's through the 60's, silk/cotton bend sari-style embroidered fabric 1950's dress. Plattry's day dresses are the perfect combination of sophisticated and fun. Flattering crisscross tucked bustline with thin embroidered straps. Cummerbund waistline. Full pleated skirt with side pockets. Notice the use of fabric, vertical lines on the waist, diagonal on the bust, horizontal along the skirt. Metal zipper up the back. Bodice is finished on the inside, skirt is unlined. Label reads "Greta Plattry Original."

Condition: excellent with the exception of a small unnoticeable mend on the skirt where the dress was snagged. No wear or problems, fabric is crisp and bright, no stains or holes.
