Sophisticated fuchsia Joseph Magnin (predating I Magnin) satin cocktail dress and coat. The dress has a lovely cut, sleeveless with a v-neckline, the V design continues at the waistline with subtle pleats. Partially lined through the bodice and the upper half of skirt with a fuchsia netting. A small bow at the center. Skirt has folds of fabric creating volume. Metal zipper up the back. Coat has a banded collar with buttons off-center. 3/4 length wide sleeves. Fully lined with white satin. Condition: dress is very good. Some scuff marks here and there. No underarm problems, holes or stains. The coat has two straight line vertical pulls on the left back side, one is a 1/4" and the other is 5/8". They are not noticeable, but worth noting since the fabric is frayed there. The lining is excellent. |
