1950's yellow and white print polished cotton dress with matching beaded shawl, by Parade, New York. Boned bustier bodice with an unusual bound button hole at the center. Possibly this was used to secure the shawl. Finely pleated waistline and a vast full circle skirt with side pockets. The shawl is triangular and trimmed with white plastic teardrop beads. Bodice is lined and fully finished with a white cotton fabric, skirt is unlined. Shawl is also lined with the white fabric. Metal zipper up the back. Belt loops, but no belt.

Condition: Excellent. No noticeable flaws, fabric is crisp and bright. There is a small spot at the underarm that is not noticeable on the outside (slight brown spot on the inside lining). Dress is missing a belt, but a white ribbon would work as a replacement. On very close inspection there are about three tiny marks on the shawl that are not noticeable. There are 4 tiny pin sized marks on the dress that are not noticeable. Dress has been hand-cleaned and steamed.
