2S103 : 1930's Crepe Gown with Turquoise, Brass & Rhinestone Studs
Gorgeous jeweled white silk crepe bias-cut 1930's gown. Faux turquoise, brass and rhinestone studs decorate the neckline and down the plunging backline. There are actually brass studs painted blue and also faceted blue glass cabochans in brass settings. The bodice is made up of fine tucks. Removable studded belt (buckles in back). Gored bias-cut skirt with a flared hemline. Side snap opening. Condition: Wonderful condition with some minor wear, the dress is sturdy and wearable with no noticeable problems. No underarm problems, amazing considering the dress is white. On close inspection, there is a tiny light pin dot mark on the side of the skirt. Some slight yellowing and wear to the fabric, tiny frays here and there and the belt is slightly darker than the dress (see close-ups of belt). Minor discolorations on the belt around the buckle area in back. Some slight frays near the hemline & one small mend in back at the hem. Studs look to be all in place, some of the rhinestones have darkened. A wonderful and unique dress! One of a kind.
