1920's black and
white abstract print day dress. Fabric is a silk or cotton
blend. Has a little sheen to it, light weight, but sturdy.
Typical 20's day dress, designed like a faux jacket, white
insert bodice, v-neckline with a flap collar. Fourteen painted
glass buttons down the front on the bodice. Long sleeves with
white cuffs. Dropped waist with side ties that tie in back.
A button at the beginning of each tie. Straight skirt, a couple
gathers where the white insert meets the skirt. Condition;
Some fraying and a couple small holes, mainly on the back
of the left sleeve. A couple minor spots from storage. The
fabric is sturdy and the dress is very wearable. A wonderful
example of a dress you would typically wear during the day
in the 1920's. Wonderful abstract pattern and glass buttons.
