1970's Helga blue flowered silk column dress with a matching scarf. Beautiful ruched bodice with the blue velvet worked in around the sides and the bow in front. This ruching continues on the back also. Tiny spaghetti straps, a pair on each side and intertwined at the top of the shoulder. The waist is slightly empire, but not right under the bust. The skirt is full with pleat, but hangs in a straight column. There are 4 layers, the first is the outer flowered chiffon, next are two layers of blue netting and then a silk crepe underskirt. The bodice is fully lined and structured. Labels read, "Helga," and, "Helmer's Syracuse."
Condition: Very good-Excellent. Found two small holes and a mend at the back hem of the skirt (most likely from a stray high heel). Not noticeable, but just so you know. There is some discoloration to the inside lining of the bodice, more so around the arms, but not visible on the outside of the dress.
