Wonderful 1950's black crepe cocktail dress with silk satin details from the very exclusive John Doyle Bishop shop in Seattle (click for images of shop). This dress is almost exactly like an Oleg Cassini we had in the past, (click here for pics). An incredible coincidence given that 1950's Oleg Cassini dresses are extremely rare. This dress has beautiful couture details with tucks running across the bodice and a satin insert with satin covered buttons in the neckline. Satin points at the waist again with satin covered buttons. The sleeves have three satin covered buttons and Cassini's signature zipper
openings. This dress is beautifully made of the finest materials. Fully lined with silk organza, metal zipper up the back. Condition: 2 small mends where a pull was on the right sleeve that are not noticeable. One tiny fray right at the zipper seam on the back of the bodice that has been darned, not noticeable (zipper probably was caught). No scuffs to the satin. A truly gorgeous and unique designer dress.
