1950's Flowered Taffeta Dress with a dropped waist poofed skirt and a beautiful slim tailored cut. The bodice has a great stand-up collar. V-neckline with a large rhinestone button opening off to the left. Short sleeves with pointed cuffs. Fitted bust and waist. The hips are also tailored to about mid-hip and there is a wide band running along the top of the skirt around the hips with a bow at the center in back. The skirt is finely pleated creating a nice volume. Original belt. Metal zipper at the center back. No designer labels found, but professionally made. Photographed with a crinoline to show skirt.
