Beautiful fine black and red rose print silk cocktail dress from upscale B. Altman & Co. Sweetheart neckline bodice with a black mesh trim. 3/4 length sleeves with tucks along the elbows. Cummerbund tucked waist with a lovely silk flower on the left. Skirt has wide tucks on the side, flat in front, fuller in the back (could be worn with a small crinoline). Lined with black rayon in the bodice and upper skirt, sleeves unlined. Label reads, "B. Altman & Co. Fifth Avenue New York." Metal zipper up the back.

Condition: no flaws found. Fabric is bright and crisp, very well cared for. The underarm fabric is not as starched/stiff as the rest of the fabric, no fading or stains.
