Very pretty 1930's sheer blue net dress with appliqued designs. Shirring at the v-neckline and at the shoulders. Slightly puffed sleeves with draped shirred sleeve openings. Appliqued design covers front and back of the bodice, as well as the sleeves. The hip area of the gored skirt is plain with the appliques covering the bottom half of the skirt. It is interesting how the appliques actually become a part of the skirt, with the hem of the skirt having 2 layers. Dress comes with a matching rayon lavender slip. Side metal zipper opening.
Condition: very good. No holes/breaks or noticeable problems on the net dress with the exception of three small red marks on the skirt, which are only noticeable on close inspection. There is a mark on the front upper bodice of the slip which is not visible when wearing the overdress. Other slight marks on the slip that are not visible. Missing the original belt.
