| Gorgeous 1920's long sleeved brown/yellow chiffon dress with unique mauve shell beads and yellow glass gems. One great thing about this dress is that the sleeves are not sewn directly into the shoulder seam and therefore can removed or reattached depending on the look you are going for. The dress is the same front and back, beautiful beadwork! Deco pattern features triangle shaped rows of mauve pink bead scallops, each with a starburst of beads and a yellow glass stone at the center. A fountain of beads comes from the point of the triangle, flowing out with curls at each end, dotted with round glass yellow beads. There is a spray of of little bead clusters on all sides of the design. This beadwork is found at the neckline, down the sides, along the sleeves and along the hanging pieces around the skirt (eight pieces total). The sleeves have cutout openings with elaborate beadwork, especially on the ruffle cuffs. Condition: fabric is a little
blotchy (darker in areas just from general wear), but nothing major or noticeable. A couple darker marks, one on the back which is a small frayed hole (see close-ups). Some tarnishing/oxidation around the yellow glass metal settings. Surprisingly very little bead loss, found some pulls on hanging pieces, mainly at the hemline and not noticeable. One missing yellow gem, right at the hem. The underarms are not stained and the shoulders look fine, which is rare with these dresses. Dress taken up about 1-2". Slip not included. Probably around a size 8. 20's dresses have narrow shoulders, check measurements.
